There are many different ways for parents to stay in touch with Clifton ISD. Bad weather is just one example of when this is important.
Here is a list of ways to get the information you need in these types of situations, and just for every day information.
- In case of bad weather, check the television and/or radio. KWTX and KCEN are two of the stations you can check. KWTX also keeps a list of closings and delays on their website.
- Call the school’s main number 254-675-CUBS (2827)- the main greeting should be updated to reflect the latest information.
- Check out the website or facebook pages. These are one of the first things updated. You can subscribe to notifications on each of these so that you receive an email or text* any time something is posted. Posts to our website automatically update the email subscribers as well as our facebook page any time there is a new post or an update to an existing post. Facebook friends can sign up on facebook for “SMS Notification”* of new posts to the Clifton ISD information. This is good for everyday information as well as weather events.
- Read the post at cubs.clifton.k12.tx.us/textalerts and sign yourself up to receive a special text alert* to your phone for weather events only.
*Texting or other messaging rates may apply, please contact your carrier with any questions.
